Curriculum Intent

(Ofted 2023) "Leaders plan a range of educational visits to enhance pupils' learning of the curriculum"

At Crown Lane Primary School, we aim to foster and develop a life-long love of learning, through a creative approach to our learning, underpinned by an evidence-informed, research-led approach.  Based on the aims and objectives of the National Curriculum, we teach our children the knowledge and skills needed to create the best learning opportunities.  We deliver a broad, balanced curriculum through topic-based lessons which inspire, motivate and challenge all of our learners, whatever their needs and interests, and gives them the values and skills to succeed in, and contribute to, the diverse world we live in.  Our curriculum is inclusive and adapted to meet the needs of all our learners, whatever their need may be.

We follow our Crown Lane Learning Code as we know that a consistent, inclusive, shared approach is vital to ensuring the progress, attainment and well-being of our pupils.  Please find a copy of our code here.

Please see these pages for information about our curriculum  for the academic year 2022-23.

Please look at the individual Year Group pages for more information about what your child is learning and for the termly newsletter.

Please contact reception@crownlane.lambeth.sch.uk if you have any questions about the curriculum being followed at Crown Lane.
