Each week children will be given 5 spellings (3 spellings in Year 1) to learn from the statutory spelling list for their year group.  They will be tested on them on the following Friday.  Please support children in practising and learning these spellings and in using them in sentences.  They will be encouraged to use them in their learning throughout the week as well.
