Children start nursery in September, the start of the academic year, if they have turned 3 years old by 31st August. When allocating places, priority is given to those that have siblings in the school. Looked After Children and children with a medical or social reason as well as distance to school from home are also a consideration. Offers are made for a morning or afternoon place and we will do our best to accommodate your choice.

Application forms are available from the school office. You can also download the application form in .doc or .pdf format and submit it by post or via email. Please contact the school to check if your application form has been received; we will then contact you when a place becomes available for your child.

We run a "Getting Ready for Nursery" group in the Summer Term for children who will be starting Nursery in September. This is run by the Children's Centre. Children who are 3 years old before the Summer Term may be offered the opportunity to start Nursery a term early if they have a particular need which may benefit from this and there are vacancies in the Nursery.

Admission to Reception is through the Lambeth admissions Common Application Form (CAF). We arrange viewings via appointments for prospective parents. Place allocation is conducted within the Lambeth admissions code and the school has no final say in this process.

Meetings for children and families allocated places are held in July. Home visits are arranged to help children make a smooth transition to their school life. All children in Reception start in September, with start dates staggered over two weeks.

In Year Admissions

If you move into the area or wish to transfer your child/ren to our school, you must do so through the Lambeth In Year Admissions Policy. You will need to complete the In Year application form and sent it to the Local Authority. Details are also available on the Lambeth Council website. As a school we are more than willing to support families through this to speed up the process and help, especially if there is a language need.

Families may make direct enquiries to the school for admissions. If there are vacancies in the required year group and Lambeth hold no waiting list, it may be possible to start children after school induction procedures have been followed.

Resource Base Admissions

Admission to the ASD Resource Base is through Lambeth SEND. We welcome visits from parents of children with ASD but decisions about placement is made by an SEND panel.
