The Parent Forum works to develop the partnership between parents/carers and school, aiming to represent the views of all parents and to be a voice to inform our school of the needs of the children and their families. It enables regular communication, provides feedback and helps the school find out what parents and carers think about important issues.
Some of the actions and changes already implemented as a result of the meetings include: amending the Parents Evening format; a team of year 5 pupils putting letters in book bags for Reception classes; after-school club parental survey sent out; new locks on the toilet doors; the council signposting the approach to the school and repainting the zig-zag lines and the school working with the STARS accreditation team to enforce parking rules.
The Parent Forum is led by Jen Hardy, a Crown Lane Parent and Class Teacher, and takes the form of a half-termly meeting, open to all parents and carers, and is attended by various members of Senior Leadership, Governors and any key community stakeholders.
If you have a question or something that you would like raised at the Parent Forum meeting please email Jen Hardy at email@example.com
